Bad Weekend....New Start

Okay, so this weekend was not as good as I had planned on it being...

First, on Friday that is the day that I had planned on going out to eat with Luke, and then Joe called and said that he wanted to hang out. So we went to Nielsens and got some wings because he said he hadn't eaten there in forever. So, I had a couple wings, fries and a turkey grinder (with the lettuce on it :)) Then we went and saw Cowboys and Aliens, so not too bad. The worst part about eating at Nielsens is they aren't a chain so it's really hard to find the nutrition information on it. But, I had planned on using some of my weekly points for the weekend anyway and I was going to the grocery store on Saturday so I would be fine the rest of the weekend...

Saturday started out well enough except it was REALLY hot REALLY early in the morning so I didn't go on a bike ride like I wanted too, but I did get up earlier than I normally do on a Saturday and got some stuff done. Then Luke and I made turkey sandwiches for ourselves for lunch and then went over to mom's to use her Internet. She then told me that Valerie was coming down for her birthday and they were going to eat at Lorena's...my weakness. Normally it's not TOO bad when I eat there because I share with Luke. So I told mom that we would come, and since I had already put some chicken and BBQ sauce in the crock pot for sandwiches I figured that I could just have that on Sunday instead. But then when we got to Lorena's Luke told me that he didn't want to get enchilada's but he would have a little bit of mine. So, I was hoping to share with someone else...but everyone else that was getting enchilada's was getting cheese. So what I SHOULD have done is put one of the enchilada's in a box and have the other one for lunch. But, Luke ate half of one and I ate the other one and a half and my rice! Not good!!!!! Then, on top of all of that we had donuts at mom's house. They weren't even the kinds I like but I ate one anyway. I'm so mad at myself, but at the same time all I can do is improve right?

Sunday went a lot better and I had the BBQ chicken in a pita pocket with some spinach for lunch/dinner after church. Then, I just had some snacks and a bowl of cereal for dinner. I even went in a walk around the block with Luke in the rain because we were both getting so restless.

But, Monday is finally here so I can get back into my routine of eating every 3 hours and eating healthy choices. Last Friday work was dead so I made a spreadsheet of all my meals including snacks for the next week and I'm excited for planning ahead. Now I just need to work on my weekends. I am nervous because once again we are having a family get together that I'm sure will involve a lot of food this weekend, but I just need to plan ahead and stick to it!

Also, I need to work on working out ha ha! I love bike rides and I feel like I push myself hard enough that it's a good aerobic workout but I feel like I need to do some toning. I think I'm going to go and get 30 day shred tonight. You have always said that you like it a lot and there are TONS of people who love it on WW and say that it's the most toned they have been in their lives. I am going to TRY and wake up a little bit earlier during the week and do it in the morning because it's only 20 minutes right? Then do a bike ride at night if the weather is good and do zumba a couple nights a week. So we'll see how that goes this week.
