I'm happy that I lost almost all of what I had gained :-) My goal this week is to go under 160. I put on some jeans last night that used to be too big for me but they were kinda tight so that was really depressing. I love the post it note idea--I'm definitely gonna do that.
Good job to you this week! That's impressive that you lost weight while you were sick--I'm proud of you!

I am really glad because when I weighed myself Thursday morning I was at 182.4 and I really wanted to be out of the 180's this week. I am determined never to go back! I am kind of nervous about the long weekend, but I think it will help to bring my own food to dinner tomorrow and I plan on having a water bottle with me all weekend.
Also, I am going cold turkey off diet soda. I have no reason to drink it, the caffeine doesn't even do anything for me, and all it does is making me retain water and more hungry. :)

Crap, I messed up
Ok, so I was just looking on KSL pets for ideas and saw this adorable picture of a baby Capuchin monkey. Are those even legal to own in Utah? (Someone is selling them on KSL for $170).I don't know but it is so cute! I've always thought it would be fun to have a chimp or a monkey but I'm sure that will never happen!

So, I'm going to start the photo thing. Sorry it's taken me so long. I'm just going to start in the spot that you are in now too so we can be posting the same thing ok?
So, here is a picture of me two years ago. It was June 2009 when we went to Snowbird with Mom and Dad. I gives me motivation to keep trying because I don't want to look like that again! I'm not sure how much I weighed then, but I'm hoping that I look thinner now than I do in that picture. Dylan and Taylor are sure cute though! I can't believe how different they both are now.

Fantabulous Friday!
So, I have been reading a lot of blogs and message boards on Weight Watchers and a lot of people do their weigh ins on Friday so they get a new batch of weekly points for the weekend. I really like that idea! Especially since I have a lot more self control while I'm at work and during the week than on the weekends. So, I weighed myself this morning and I am still the same so that actually works pretty well. But just so you are aware I will be updating the blog with my weigh ins on Fridays now....if you want to continue doing the blog then you are welcome to do it whatever day you want and you feel works best for you.
So, sad news today is that I returned my bike.... :( Luke said that the sprockets (sp?) were bent and that's why it was making that clicking noise when you ride and one of the handles was messed up and the rack he put on the back was really bent. We are pretty sure that it got beat up in shipping and Luke knew this from the beginning, but I was in denial and didn't want to believe that I couldn't ride it yet. So we returned it to the store and this time did site to store shipping because the lady at customer service last night said that when you did that they put it together for you. I'm not positive on that fact, but either way hopefully they will ship it better and maybe it won't be FedEx that ships it. So, now I am back to the death trap and my estimated delivery is between Friday July 22 and Thursday July 28.
I hope all is well and I hope you have a good weekend! I am going on a date tonight and maybe going to see the new Harry Potter at the new theater in Farmington :)

FiNaLLy! :)

I am so stinkin excited to finally have my bike! Luke said that he feels bad because mine isn't as nice as his...but I don't even care. It's 1,000 x better than my other one. I only rode it for like 10 minutes yesterday because it was pretty late by the time Luke got it all put together. But, it rides like a dream...the seat is pretty big and comfortable and has shocks on it! And there are shocks on the front fork, which is awesome! The gears and brakes actually work, so I'm going to have to remember to still give myself a good workout and not always have it on an easy gear ha ha!
Like I said, I didn't really get a workout yesterday so that means I really need to workout every day the rest of the week. I don't think I'm going to go to the party tonight because I still have so much to do and I do have to work in the morning. But, at least I'll be able to see everyone next week :)
I am proud to say that for the first time in a really long time I actually got all of me "healthy checks" on WW, which includes 5 servings of fruit/veggies, 6 8 oz glasses of water, oil, multivitamin, activity and milk/milk products. I unfortunately didn't make a very good choice for dinner and went over my points. And when I weighed myself this morning I'm still the same so I really need to pump it up a notch. I am so pumped about biking, and I am so excited for my bike to come today! It says that it's out on the truck for delivery! :)
I didn't wake up early to do Zumba this morning because last night was a really bad night and I woke up a ton so that extra 45 minutes really helped out.
So, I've started actually packing lunches and eating at home...starting today! I brought lots of fruit and veggies and a pita sandwich for lunch and it feels so good! I love not feeling guilty about what I'm eating and knowing that this is going to help me lose weight! Make sure to get your workout in today!

I am so stinking excited for my new bike! It says that it's still on time to be delivered tomorrow :) Luke's was finally shipped too...and it says it's suppose to come tomorrow as well! The guys who sells them must get them from Walmart or something...because ours are both in the same place, weird right?
Then I woke up this morning..not very prepared to do weights. I planned on using an app that I downloaded and then realized that it requires machines...which I don't have. So I just did some shoulders and chest :)

First of all, I am so surprised, because all this week whenever I have weighed myself I've been the same or only lost like .6. So, I'm super happy. The other thing is I'm kinda freaked out because a few weeks ago my first weight was 162.2 and then 160.6. Weird...dejavu! Anyway, I was thinking back on my week and I ate out a lot more than usual. I want to try to not eat out this week (maybe only one meal) and I think it will help me lose more weight. It's really good that I lost this week because I was feeling really discouraged yesterday and I was wondering whether it was even worth it. But I've got some confidence back. :-)
My goal for this week is to ride my bike for 45 minutes 4 times (most likely Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) and then do some type of strength training video 3 times (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). I want to aim for a 2 lb loss this week again and keep tracking my calories on that app I've been using.
Sorry about your weigh in! I'm really impressed with your goals for this week, though. It sounds like a great plan. You're gonna do awesome this week!!

The dreaded weigh in....

Gain of .8 :( I'm super bummed because I actually did count all of my points and exercise this week but I have a feeling it's the "dreaded 2nd week" problem they have on Biggest Loser too. My goal was to lose about 2 pounds and since I didn't now I have to play catch up. On my mirror my goal is to get to 176.2 but I'm hoping to lose 2 to 3 pounds this week. I'm going to add to my routine and track my points really well this week to help....this is my plan for this week.

Day 1 A photo of yourself and a description of how your day was




I decided to post these photos as a picture of myself because I honestly think that you have seen most of the other ones. :) So I weighed myself this morning and I have gained 1.5 pounds so I'm desperately hoping that number goes down by tomorrow :( So that is how my morning started and then I got ready for church and actually went to church ha ha. It was really weird because Brother Christensen came up to me and Luke before sacrament meeting and asked us how we were doing and when we asked him how he was doing he said "I'm doing good but I'd be doing a lot better if I saw you during Sunday School....Me, Mom and Luke all thought he meant that we've
been skipping out on Sunday School ha ha! But he just meant that he wanted us to meet with him during Sunday School. So we are now super excited to be able to have a calling together even thought it means we have to be there every week again and we have to actually teach instead of just giving them a treat and something to color ha ha! Then after church we made brats on the grill and had them with Broccoli it was super yummy. After that I took a quick nap and now we're watching Devil...Thus the reason why I'm blogging because I'm trying to only half pay attention to the movie ha ha! Then we have to take the bike back up to Jackie's and put some laundry away. So to explain the pictures I decided to write my goals on the mirror so I'm reminded constantly of my goals and what I need to do to be able to get there. :) Have a good Sunday and good luck for our weigh in tomorrow!

30 Day Shred Again
I had a lot of fun with Mom today. We went to the sidewalk sales on Main Street. It reminds me of when we used to go to the sidewalk sales on Bountiful's Main Street. We ate at The Copper Mill. It was SO yummy! Mom ordered fries and I ordered a salad and we shared 1/2 of each. The fries were the best fries I've ever had!! Mom agreed. It's bad that I've discovered them :-/
We're gonna go see Spencer perform at Pier 49 tonight so I'll be eating pizza there. It's not good that I will be eating out twice today...I'm gonna be careful at Pier 49 and not eat too much.

WoW!
Can't Be Left Alone.....
I went to the grocery store with Lisa last night because Luke was going to be working late anyway and then she invited me over, but I'm a loser and just wanted to go home...bad idea. We really don't have much to eat in our house...not really even to snack on. So, I was stuck at home with no car and no one to distract me from eating. I was super hungry so I didn't really want to go on a bike ride yet and get myself sick so I had a couple oreos and a bowl of cereal, great "snack" right? Then Luke brought me home a steak quesadilla from albertos, luckily I only ate half of it and then he ate the rest...but it still wasn't a good night. After all of that I didn't even exercise. I'm a bum, after I was so pumped and excited in the morning and I did so good for lunch... and I ruin it from being bored. I just have to remind myself that things like that happen and there will be days like that but I can't let it get me down. I'm hoping the weather isn't too bad because I really want to go on a bike ride tonight, and I am going to count all my points today and try really hard not to use any activity points. :) I hope your day today is a successful one!

Do YoU fEeL iT?
I am committing to you right now that I will lose the weight, I will gain the self confidence that I deserve as a Daughter of God and, I will look good in the clothes that I want to look good in!
I have decided to set an overall goal, even though this scares me because I am so scared of failing once again, I need to be held accountable so here is my goal(s).
My BIG goal is by May 5, 2012 I will weigh 130 pounds!
To achieve this goal and be able to keep it off, I have set the following smaller goals which I will concentrate on one at a time.
August 15 I will weigh 171.2 pounds
October 3rd I will weigh 160.7 pounds
December 12th I will weigh 150.7 pounds
February 20th 2012 I will weigh 140.7 pounds
April 30th 2012 I will weigh 130.7 pounds
May 5th 2012 I will weigh 130 pounds!
It's going to be a very long road, and as I told you for each of these goals I will get an outfit and for my big goal I get to have a mani pedi and a few new outfits. I am so stoked and I'm bummed it's going to take ten months but it's my own fault that it has taken this long in the first place. So I will do this, and I hope you can be withe me the whole way! I am seriously so emotional right now I want to cry, I'm hoping that's a good sign. :)

I love the app I told you about that I downloaded. It keeps track of calories and exercise and stuff like that. It's cool because you can just scan the bar code on whatever you ate and it will automatically enter the calories for you. :-) So, I'm excited to start that today. It's hard to change eating habits but that's the only way I'm gonna lose weight.
So my goal this week is to use that app every day, exercise 4 times and lose 2 lbs!
